We are hiring a full-time Studio & Partnerships Manager to support Mindwalk Yoga’s virtual studio, engage our membership and support partnerships. The role is on a six-month fixed-term contract funded by a grant.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum for a 35 hour week
Six-month fixed-term staff position with a three-month probation period (with a view to a perm role)
Flexible Remote working with one day per month in-person collaborative working days
About Mindwalk Yoga
Mindwalk Yoga is a virtual well-being platform and social enterprise run by Black women and open to everyone. Our intention is to make yoga accessible, inclusive and affordable. We offer daily Livestream and On-Demand classes, we’ve established a Black Women’s Wellness Collective, and we host monthly online retreats. We also run courses in yoga therapy for mental wellness, support organisations with well-being programs, and work with local health authorities providing socially prescribed yoga.
The Ideal Candidate
Should be able to work independently, be highly motivated and wants to be part of a purposeful social enterprise building an equitable well-being platform. Who can also demonstrate the following:
Working knowledge and active experience of all social media platforms will be essential
Proven planning, research and process management skills
A professional and calm manner, an aptitude to learning and implementing new technology,
Strong communicator with the ability to interact and engage with the general public, our community, potential partners, and or corporate organisations
Ability to multitask
Strong administration experience, including proficient use of Google Docs, Microsoft Packages, Canva (or equivalent)
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
The Role
The Studio & Partnerships Manager will have overall responsibility for the effective and efficient running of the virtual studio, partnerships development and membership engagement.
A bit more on the role responsibilities:
Virtual studio management: In charge of the day-to-day running of the studio, managing/updating the booking platform, booking teachers, including finding cover teachers, general customer service and livestream class organisation. Management and monitoring of revenue and profit growth. The role will be guided and supported by the Founder.
Membership retention and growth: Our members are the heart of our social enterprise. This role will be active in membership engagement for retention and be proactive in growing our membership base through promotions, partnerships and community outreach.
Partnerships outreach: Mindwalk Yoga is building partnerships with like-minded organisations, local health authorities, corporates, charities and social enterprises. This role will further our efforts in creating relationships with key individuals and groups to reach more people, increase our visibility and build our membership.
Social media management: Mindwalk Yoga has social media communities on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. The role includes management of our social channels to engage our existing audiences, connect with like-minded groups and individuals, promote our services and increase our visibility.
